my 1st experience for gov itvw

Yesterday morning 25/02/2009 after sending my hubby to his work place at sentul, I ran to dbkl for my intvw..owh, it almost 8.30am and I still driving around to find the cark park. I felt relieved after found one car park behind of kwsp building. Quickly parking the car and walked fast to dbkl tower.

Oh no!, too many people waiting for the lift. I know i'm late. I supposed to be there before 8.30am. I can't get in the first lift, very fulled. While waiting for the second lift i kept looking at my watch. The second lift arrived and i pushed myself to get in before I was left behind. As wrote in the letter, the itvw was held at floor 30. But the floor number only till 28. So I pressed 28. I will ask anyone upthere for direction. Arrive at floor 28, I walked in the huge office room, and before i can ask the receptionist, the Negaraku song was played. Someone in front of me stop his walking and everyone in that room stand straight. Oh no, now I was trapped in that room when I really need to hurry. Of course I also stand cool there until the song end continued by the dbkl song. After asked direction from receptionist I went up used stairs next to her office.

10 candidates, 5 men&5 women were sitting on the chair when I arrived there. I signed the attendant sheet and my turned is no. 6th. I sit next to a woman. My nervous came when looking to all of them. Some of them were holding notes.I took out my notes from handbag and read. 5 minutes go I started a conversation to the woman next to me. After get to know each others, she actually is my senior graduate 2004. Her name is Ezma. She is soft person and I like her very much. Kept talking with her make me forget for a while of the waiting itvw. At 9.30am, 3 interviewer, 2 men&1woman came in the interview room. 9.40am the first candidates was called till 6th.

I went in and put my file on the table give salam and be sitted after the intvwer insist. The first intvwer asking my personal detail, project i handled currently and a bit about land acquisition. The second itvwer asked more tricky and problem solving questions and i know he tried to make me unsure of my opinion. The third interview more to facts related to the job applied and current issue. My advise, read paper in the morning before went to your intvw. I'm not sure whether I will get the job or not. 11 candidates and I was told from one of the staff working there, the percentage to get the job very low otherwise u have someone know worked in there.

However, I tried my best and prayed to Allah. Now, just let them to make decision.

good news!!

on 21/02/2009 (Saturday) i received a mail from dbkl requested me to attend an interview for Surveyor position. Thats great news for me since i give up SPA intvw for the same position year 2007. I'm very excited and this is my opportunity to be in the government field. Even though dbkl is a Badan Berkanun the management is similar with government. The most important things are gov. can offer many things to their staffs. Good salary, allowance, loans (house) and security. In nowadays unstabilize economy, I start thinking to join gov. I hope to do the best for this intvw coz I'm not really good in formal intvw. Before I start working here (current company) i already attended 6 intvws. 4 of them are formal intvw which is I failed and 2 of them informal, well i get both but of course i make decision to choose 1 only. I wished if i get this job i will do a "Doa Selamat' and with my salary I can increase the amount of money that I give to my mom&dad monthly. I also wants my mom to stop working at Tadika Kemas as cooker because I know that she is very old to do any heavy works anymore. May i fulfill this little dreams? Yes if I have confident and no fear. To anyone read this blog, please pray to Allah for my success. Thank you.

forgot to turn off car's light

Yesterday at lunch hour i planned to go home. i press the car's alarm key for many times but still can't open the car's door. what's wrong?maybe the battery is weak. ahh...its very hot outside here. i took out my extra key in my handbag but still cannot open. help me!!! i already panicked and sweating.

Fortunately, 3 of my ofismates just coming down from the ofis for lunch. i call for their help. they try to open the door manually use the car keys and u know what i forgot to turn off the car's light. it almost 5 hours since the morning the lights on. then now my car cannot start at all. what a absent minded person of me!! i'm so thankful to them coz under the hot sun they helping me to push my car to charge the car battery. Using the jumping cable they connected my car battery to one of their car battery. but still cannot start the car. pehh!! worried, hungry and hot i felt like to cry. 15min charging still not worked. One of them suggested to push the car and i tried to start the engine while its moving.

Bismillah......i press clutch and put into gear 2. 3 of them push the car and at the same time i try to start the car. Thanks to Allah. Its work!! i look at my watch and Its already 1.35pm.I cancelled to go back home and park the car in front of kedai mamak. Time to eat. I'm starving. Thanks so much to Billy, Malin n Ah Wong. I buy u a drinks for lunch k.MMMMUUUUAAHH!!!
